Let Girls Shine; A Menstrual Health Hygiene Intervention

Let Girls Shine; a Menstrual Health Hygiene Intervention

With 100,000 CAD (75,000 USD) from Grand Challenges Canada, we are currently working in 20 primary schools in Blantyre and Lilongwe training 3,000 girls to make reusable sanitary pads and 600 girls in entrepreneurship skills such as shoe covering, hair dressing, or making bangles etc.

At the close of the project due to COVID-19 in March, 2020 we had trained 600 girls already. The project is now expected to extend beyond 2020.
