Kennedy Chikungwa is a passionate and dedicated Youth and SRHR professional with 2 years of work experience as an youth advocacy officer at the Forum for AIDS Counselling and Training. He pursued his higher education at The Catholic University of Malawi, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in social science, Community Development.

In his role as a youth advocacy officer, he is committed to promoting youth leadership development, empowering youth to be influential change makers in their communities and fostering inclusive and equitable access to sexual and reproductive health rights and services to help them make sound decisions regarding their sexual health. His responsibilities include policy advocacy, community mobilization, youth engagement, and partnership building.

He has successfully educated and empowered over 2000 youth, particularly focusing on the adolescent girls and young women, young people living with HIV, victims and survivors of sexual violence, and other marginalized populations about their sexual and reproductive health rights on where and how they can access them.
