Fanny Chirwa is a dedicated young lady with passion and interest in the Adolescent Girls and Young Women programs(AGYW). She has been working as the program’s coordinator for AGYW for the past 2 years at FACT Malawi. She holds a Bsc in Social Science, majoring in Human Rights, obtained from the University of Livingstonia in February 2023.

Since graduation, she has been working with FACT Malawi as a adolescent girls and young women programs coordinator and community mobilization officer. Additionally, she has served as the project officer under the Msugwana Ovaya project which advocates for the quality education rights for adolescent girls. In this role, she has addressed the needs of underprivileged adolescent girls and young women in primary schools by sharing information on Women rights, on SRHR, training on reusable sanitary pads to end period poverty, and breaking barriers to child marriages.
