With 100,000 CAD (75,000 USD) from Grand Challenges Canada, FACT implemented a project that trained over 3,000 girls to make handmade reusable sanitary pads and 600 girls in entrepreneurship skills such as earrings making and sewing bags in 20 primary schools in Blantyre and Lilongwe.

Offered education on sexual harassment, exploitation, and reporting mechanisms on the same.

Educated boys, teacher, girls, and mother groups on myths associated with menstruation and harassment associated with menstruation.

The project was to be for one year, but due to COVID-19 it was extended to 2021.
