Matilda Sapanga is a Journalism graduate from the University of Malawi, with a solid foundation in effective communication strategies, and ethical reporting.

She brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role as a Communications Officer. After graduating, Matilda dedicated eight months to volunteering with Forum for AIDS Counselling and Training (FACT Malawi), where she demonstrated a passion for community engagement and advocacy.Her commitment and effectiveness in the role led to a permanent position as a Communications Officer, where she honed her skills in crafting compelling narratives, engaging with diverse audiences, and utilizing various media platforms to amplify voices for marginalized population and drive change.

With two years of experience working at the grassroots level, Matilda has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by underserved communities including adolescents and youth. Her work has focused on advocating for vulnerable groups, particularly women and girls, and people living with HIV and combating inequalities through communication campaigns and social media initiatives.
